Lou Harrison — whose music sends me — wrote this when he was at Black Mountain with John Cage and Merce Cunningham. Lou introduced the I-Ching to John and Merce. I heard this performance at Carneigie Hall, with Keith Jarrett on the Piano and Lucy Stoltzman on the Violin. Harrison was in the audience, and I had him sign my program.
